hey i have started a new city right where Washington DC is, it is going
to be big i am not using textures just what is on te program

nice. you should turn the profiles off. so u caan view better details. go to view. click on edge style and then click on profiles. thats what i do to see better from far away.

This is cool that you and whoever else is trying the no textures like I did also.
You will find it is funner this way.

Your floors look paper-thin, but other than that, great job!
(If you push/pull each building level from a new face, the floors will have thickness).

That looks like a great start! I noticed that you are using the glass cloud texture. Just letting you know that you can go to the textures window and edit the size of this texture. I find that that cloud texture becomes much more realistic if you enlarge it.

Actually in the Washington D.C. area there is a height restriction on buildings (just a fun fact). Thats not to say you cannot build tall ones here because it is for fun. :tup:

Capital City of America! And it really dosnt have a skyline.

I did a sketch on my version of Washington D.C. You can see Palm Trees and such on The Mall but yeah, USA, the White House is also there, somewhere :haha:

nice. I like the idea bout the river. maybe you shouldn't use textures in your glass and make the glass darker. experiment. I also like the idea bout the river. I would make a river in my city but like i said before its not possible for a river or large water feature to be built in Mexico city and i want to keep it realistic.
