Stripland ? since long island is like a strip of land? that's one i thought of when i was thinking of names for Sabal Island. "Strip" could have another meaning though :haha:

Thats actually a city name in New Hampshire. When I was looking at colleges I stayed up there while visiting (UNH). It's a really nice little town. Has that New England theme, yet a European Charm.

I know Bridgeport and Easton are real town/city names, but I don't think Union city is (atleast to my knowledge).

There is an Easton in Connecticut and an Easton in upstate New York, so that doesn't sound feasible either.

There is a Bridgeport in southern New Jersey, as well as in Connecticut, but no Bridgeport is located in the state of New York.

completed in 2000 its one of the cities newest towers,The James Mercer Hospital.Ironicly,when digging the foundation a grave from the 1800's was unearthed.

I just want to warn you that by adding textures will cause your city to drag and run slow. Patrick has expressed this happening to Staunton. I just want to make you aware incase you don't know.

If your graphic card is a bit dodgy turn off harware acceleration

window > preferences > hardware acceleration (off)

also 'purge unused items' window > model info > statistics > purge model

I found a new way to make texture to,look at centrion tower at 3dwarehouse,I turned on parelell projection,and took a pic,photoshoped it,and walla!

hey guy,Im restarting the city,but in a good way. I'm going to do like dac and put in all the roads first,I found some new ways to do stuff like the little details.
also,it did not look right the way it was,it looked like it was not thought out well.Ill keep all the building I have now.

You have to right click the texture and click position and you can sort of grab it and drag it around. or you can draw everything manually with lines.
