When building a large architectural structure, there is nearly always a ceremony called "laying of the foundation stone". When took this ceremony place for Burj Dubai?
Or are such ceremonies uncommon in UAE?
Was there no official date when construction of Burj Dubai started?

Actually they just build in Dubai, they do not care about such formalities.... There is money enough for everything. Everyday is high level of stand way of living among the rich people which is a few ones and nothing is cared to the small own emirates, the rest build only....

Go back to North ignorant TROLL.

There was such ceremony, either in late 2004 or early 2005 ... however work on the building piles and foundations had already started.
