Wow... I forgot there used to be a 1950s communist style highrise in front of the Hotel Mac - can't say I miss it.

It's amazing how much Jasper Avenue has deteriorated. Downtown was once so full of life and we never imagined it could be otherwise.

Interesting how certain parts of Jasper Ave in the movie haven't changed very much since 1977! Especially from 101 St eastwards and the spot around where the Axis Cafe now sits (Jasper and 104th)!

But now, as many of you Edmontonians here know, there'll be many more changes coming before you know it!
