This past Wednesday the 12th, the Scottsdale Planning Services Team (within the Current Planning Department) took a tour of Downtown Scottsdale, with John Little, Director of the Downtown Group, guiding the way.

We took the Scottsdale Trolley and traversed along most of Downtown, and took a stroll along the Arizona Canal and the new Southbridge project on the southside of the canal banks.

The highlight of the tour was Waterfront, which I did not expect. We got a tour of the lobby and 1st floor, and went to the 14th level (roof) and was treated to stunning views of the entire Valley. I want to thank my boss for having a camera on her, because I didn't have one!

The images are below, enjoy:

The Planning Services team (if you need your plans reviewed at the counter, submitting for a staff approval, need commercial or residential questions answered, plan to throw a special event, or want a sign permit or have signage-related questions, we are the ones to help! I do the signs).

sweet. That would be an awesome place to live, if you could afford it.

^Yeah, the quote we got (we asked) went from $400,000 to $4 million. A pricey deal for lovely views.

The views are great, but the buildings are hideous. They look like someone just took a typical stucco and tile Scottsdale house and stretched it vertically- ick.

VVVV Don I don't even know what that smiley means, are you agreeing with me? Calling me a mutant? :P
