Interesting Facts/Records (in own words):
-In the Wertachtal between the municipalities of Ettringen and Lamerdingen since 1972 a big broadcasting centre for short wave (broadcasting achievements to 500 kilowatts) which is pursued by the T-systems (earlier of the German federal post) has an Antenna complex.
-Programs of international, Christian foreign services are sent like radio HCJB. On the 31st December, 2006 the German broadcast Deutsche Welle finishes her broadcastings from Wertachtal, other radio stations will send even next time from here.
-A minimal of 30 antennas far away visible from highway A96, making a 3-point star connected with cables net in a very big aereal, which 16 of them, in middle the line of Antennas in a star Formation, are almost 125m tall. If all small Antennas are counted, a total of 74 Antennas are reached. 16 send companies are here to be found.
-It is opened to send Munich Olympic Games Forecasts in 1972.
-On the 17th November, 1970 the topping-out ceremony was celebrated on the a good 200 ha area. The building site for the short wave arrangement, biggest at that time of Europe, occupied around 600 construction workers. In September, 1971 the first six were finished between 25m upto 125m high Antenna Masts. With it the curtain aerials could be mounted as the first for the Middle East and North America.
-In the broadcasting building the first three of a transmitter generation new-developed from AEG-Telefunken were installed, and one hoped for a broadcasting beginning still in December, 1971. Then up to the beginning of the Olympic games in 1972 four 500-kW transmitters should work and stand fifth in reserve.
-The first test endings began on the 10th April, 1972 with four 500-kW transmitters. On the 12th June, 1972 DW director Walter Steigner and federal postmaster general Georg Leber handed over the broadcasting place Wertachtal officially to her regulation. The test broadcastings were continued up to the beginning of the Olympic games in August. During the plays a transmitter on 5,995 kHz transferred the ARD-Olympic wave, while three other in the afternoon and in the evening for Olympic transference to foreign transmitters used.
-Since then was used by Deutsche Welle until 2006 when became as owner of T-Systems.
-The air traffic in this area is under 800m prohibited.

Mike - these are separate structures... even though they're connected by cables - they're still separate.

Just give me how many are there with different heights.

As I understand there are 16 125m towers, but have more?
Just help me out - and I'll make all the entries.

For me is perfect done. As it is all connected together making a great spider net of cables among lattice towers antennas, i think it is just one complex structure of antennas....;)
