Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Giant Barrel of Bad Dürkheim is world's largest wine barrel.
It has a diametres of 13.5 metres and a volume of 1.700.000 litres.

For building the barrel 200 40 metres tall pines were used. Totally 200 m³ of wood were used.

However, it was never filled with wine or an other liquid and is used as a restaurant.

The Giant Barrel of Bad Dürkheim is a very well-known sight.

Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Bad Dürkheim Graduation Tower is one of the the longest graduation towers in Germany with a length of 333 metres.
It was damaged in World War II and was destroyed on a length of 80 metres by fire on July 1st, 1992.
On April 7th, 2007 it was heavily damaged by a fire. Reconstruction is uncertain.

The graduation tower was before World War II used for salt production, after World War II for spa operation.
