Cool, I didn't even know Global was doing city profiles.

Do you know if the video will be available on their website or youtube?
Does anyone have a tv card on their computer so they could record the segment?
What did the teasers say for Waterloo?

Thanks for giving us a heads up.

So here's a link with the newscasts: http://www.canada.com/globaltv/national/video/index.html (Though, if someone is able to record the segment, I'd still greatly appreciate it)
The cities being looked at this week are: Ottawa, Oshawa, Barrie, Kitchener-Waterloo, London
"Kitchener/Waterloo's drive to become a world leader"
"Waterloo, Ontario - we'll be looking at why it's become a remarkable centre for innovation and scientific research"

Well it's no surprise they will focus on KW being a leader in Canadian Technology, with even some global ambition. Take a look at the closing prices yesterday in the stock markets:

RIM is now Canada's 3rd most valuable company!
2 of the 10 Companies in the S&P/TSX Capped Info Tech Index are from Waterloo Region. In a few months, it should become 3 out of 11. (Sandvine)
