The third pic in this thread kind of looks like a middle eastern or Meditarranean city. Shorter residential towers, up a hill, hazy sunshine, and a big brown mountain in the background. If you just showed a random person this photo and said where is this they might say Beirut, or Naples lol

Great shots, of a happening and rapidly urbanizing downtown. I remember going to downtown SD in the early 90's and it was dead.....

Downtown is very walkable and the trolley runs the periphery.
