Las Arenas, designed by Richard Rogers, should be finished by 2009. As usual, Sir Rogers looks very concerned about the environmental issues: " The 76 metre-diameter roof is finished with a white plastic coating to reflect the suns rays, and is equipped with high performance thermo-solar energy collectors to generate hot water for the building’s toilets, changing rooms and swimming pool."
I prefer to focus my attention on the beautiful steel-concrete structure carries he original brick perimeter wall (that is all that will remain of the original 1899 Bullring by architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner).
