The tower itself is nice, just where its located makes it look so weird. It almost looks like an art sculpture in the middle of a plaza rather than an apartment building.

In the block it does but the Library is right in front of it so it's looks good. Glass to glass.

I wish it was taller and wider, then it wouldn't look as out of place and it would help fill in the area. Oh well, at least it looks nice. Especially those tiles now that that is all done. Does anyone have recent pics?

Might as well consider this one completed. The outside is done and that's all we care about here at ssp.

I don't know. We always wait for the sure sign of construction start when equipment and bodies are in action on a site. There's still work going on the outside and inside of this building.

Supposedly move-ins start this month, but from what I can tell, it doesn't seem like it'll happen till next month at the earliest.

The back side of the exterior is still not finished. Still needs final paneling or glass or whatever...

I just got a couple of shots Saturday. I'll post them tomorrow. The outside is almost done but not all the way. I saw lights in the first three floors and some lamps/furniture.

^Is it because of that....brick thing? I guess it's better than a blank wall, but doesn't look that great. :(

It just seems... bland.

hmm....Almost done. The base needs work and maybe they need to add appliances but the main thing is done. Wonder if it's considered "complete" in the Seattle Compilation Thread?
Anyways I like the tower but I passed by it yesterday andit seemed that there was no privacy in the building. A couple of weeks ago I was in the Seattle Library and I could see all the condos facing Madison Street. If I was a condo owner I wouldn't like it because like I said I wouldn't have privacy and because the only way to get privacy would be to put curtains up which would block my view and woundn't let natural light in that much.

I don't get the big window thing either. Buildings can look nice with glass curtainwall, but I'd leave my blinds shut nearly all of the time.

That is one of the things I love about the building, the large windows. I never close my curtains. My other place had nothing at the windows.

I love the big windows. Let the light in feel like you are in a city, not locked up in a room. The Colored Tiles did not do me at first, but now that they are done I like them a lot.
