Port Dalhousie is a neighborhood in St. Catharines where Twelve Mile Creek empties into Lake Ontario. Port Dalhousie was originally a separate town and was the Lake Ontario gateway to the original Welland Canal. The area was settled in 1820 when the first Welland Canal opened up, and was incorporated as a village in 1862. Port Dalhousie was amalgamated with St. Catharines in 1961.

Looks like a very peaceful place. Good shots even in the rain, it added to the calmness of the area.
