Aren't they just the worst? They were the first thing I noticed when I returned to Ottawa after they had repaved Wellington street. Talk about an opportunity missed...

Ha Ha! Those wires are virutually on top of someone's balcony! I guess they'll be practical for hanging up the wash!

The building is finished and moved-into. The wires are, indeed, a disgrace. I don't know how the city doesn't force the utilities to bury them all at their expense. One of the retail spaces is leased and the sign on the window says it'll be a tile and ceramics store.
