So I'll be in Seattle from Monday, November 26th until the following Thursday. Any chance anybody'd want to have a little meet-up in that time (weather permitting)?

Bob Loblaw?
WTF??
We recently had a downtown Seattle meet. How about one in Bellevue?

mmm...I would go but I'd feel like a little kid surrounded by older men....
Which is not a good feeling. I'm only a teenager.

Nice.
I guess in the end it'll just boil down to whoever can swing it. Even if it's just a couple people, it'd still be fun. Maybe we can coax Aleks with booze and strippers?

Ha, lol I'm only 15, I don't think I'll drink.....Much..... So even if I can go it would be in Bellevue and I live in the Central District; I don't know how I would (if I went) get there...
I think a perfect meet would be in the mountains, nature is awesomeness....Oh, this is random but I'm happy so I'll say it: I got into Search and Rescue "YAY" we get to search and rescue people, first in the city then we go to the mountains!!! I'm so pumped to go to the next meeting, but again, I'm 15 and most people who join that program are like college kids and up so I'll feel unwelcome....

Well, I'm not down for a Bellevue meet-up at all as I'm planning on spending as much of my very limited time as possible out and about in the city.

No, not like that silly, I mean look at birds, hike, all that non-sexual stuff....Just viewing at natures perfectly designed skyscrapers; trees, and maybe get some pictures and what not...
But hey, I never said you couldn't do other stuff in the woods....:omg: :offtopic:

Well depends: I don't eat much candy, mostly gum.... but yeah so has anybody decided where it would be better? Maybe a tour: From Seattle to Bellevue, from Bellevue to a good ol' hike, and back to Seattle you go to enjoy some nice, hot Starbucks.

How about from Capitol Hill heading to downtown? We could get a peek at the cranes from Volunteer Park (in the water tower), hop on the 10, get off at 15th and Pine and walk down Pine Street to downtown. We could concentrate on Pine Street and then maybe weave our way through two to three blocks in each direction from Pine Street. Maybe that would be too long, but I have never been to a meet-up.

Not trying to go off topic with all the outdoor discussion stuff, but are their any ideas regarding when and where since our fellow poster stated that they would only be in town until Thursday (December 6th) and its now Tuesday (November 27th).
Here is an off-topic idea: would anyone have connections with building managers etc to get sneak peeks at buildings under construction? Or, maybe a behind the scenes tour of a newly finished skyscraper.

Hehe....the following Thursday is actually the 29th. And that time has come and gone. Sorry for the false alarm folks, I've had too much to do in too little time this trip. I'm hoping for another cameo with more time next summer.

We should have a regular meet-up.
