Thanks for checking this out! Let me know any suggestions or opinions or what have you.

These pictures where taken from a time span from March 2007 to August 2007 or so all pictures are copyright of Michael Galvan.

Not bad for a 1st post, they're as good as anyone elses photos on the forum. I can't think of anything to improve on, just continue what you're already doing.

very good indeed. Keep shooting!

For night shots, it helps to leave the shutter open for a second or two. Try different times .5 sec, 1 sec, 2 sec, try 5 seconds too. Sometimes the results are suprising and nice. However, you need to keep the camera steady by using a tripod or a bench. It helps to use a timer so you don't rattle the camera when you press the shutter button.

Actually, I am up against the back, a little off center. It looks like a got the arm of the person in red just at the right time heh.

Thank you all so very much for your kind words.

Great first forum post! I like to leave a gap between the photos so they don't blend together, others frame their pics, but overall great job. Looking forward to more of your work!

 Yeah, these are quite nice. You did good to capture a nice blue sky in the majority of them, a tricky exposure sometimes. Thanks for sharing your work, very enjoyable. :)

Lake Shore Drive isnt as close to the water there as it looks. It's also not exactly a highway. In any case waterfront roads aren't that bad. They let more people view the waterfront. In most cities, the alternative would've been to build it up and make it accessible to the few who own property there.
