Not sure if all of these have been posted recently: Rhythm crane is up and first of two cranes for Pinnacle is up. Encore crane is down. Icon has a few floors to go and Terrazo has a few floors above ground

WES hole for parking looks to be nearly complete and the pad for the office tower looks to be graded now and the rest of the site looks like a big pile of.....ok, rock and dirt. No material on-site minus some pipe. Doesn't look like it will go vertical in Nov (hope I'm wrong), but rather Dec

And to alll...Happy Turkey Day!!

What about that thousand-foot-whatever tower that was going to make Dubai shrivel with envy ?

He has the "dirt moving" permit in hand. Ground break is in December with construction starting next year.

You're welcome. Lord knows ALL of us are ready for SOMETHING to be done about it. We have talked about it to the point of exhaustion here in Nashville.

Lexy, this is unrelated to Nashville development, but while driving on Donaldson Pike tonight past the airport, I saw a USscareways CRJ parked on the taxiway next to runway 20L surrounded by emergency vehicles. It had been evacuated... do you or your friends know what was going on?

Also, why is Jetblue dropping BNA?

I don't know what was going on but I am sure I will hear about it pretty soon. I'll let you know something when I hear it.

As for JetBlue, this is my opinion mixed in with their "facts".

It is my opinion they failed to capture a decent marketshare out of Nashville due to their lack of marketing and their lack of offereings. Nashville is a Focus City for Southwest and has a large number of non-stops to the NYC airports daily on four different airlines. JetBlue failed to make themselves stand out as a clear choice for Nashvillians. Their reason was they just didn't make money flying from BNA due to competition.

They'll still fly here. Albeit the planes will be empty though. They perform their maintinance here on the Embraer 190's.
