I live in the area so I see the site quite often but I still kind of wet my pants when I dive near it and see the height and structure of this puppy. Nice to see something stick out so much in the skyline north of the core.

If you haven't been to Yonge & Eg in some time, come up for a movie or something and check it out. For those that love buildings (and tall shit), this complex is pretty cool, (IMO a much better design than the two standing RoCP buildings).

The North Tower kind of pokes out of nowhere, probably much like Palace Pier or Manulife did back when they were built in their perspective areas.

Minto Midtown is also kind of like the Met and Encore, another great looking site but kind of lost in the flurry of building activity in the city these days.

Anyway, my two cents worth but wanted to pay homage to a project that got a lot of these St. Paul rinding people in a dizzy when they mentioned building this 54 story building in their backyard. (I also remembered "freaking out" when I heard they were going to build Pantages. And that wasn't that long ago. God, have we gotten all height crazy lately or what?).

PS - I wish I had pics but "lost" my camera on a plane.
