In april, I went to Belgium, Ghent and Bruges to be precise. I had some trouble in posting them. But finally I found out. After all it wasn't that hard.

Both are very beautiful cities.

Enjoy.

Always nice to see places that I know very good (I live 20 and 60 km away) to see photographed by people from another country , cause they look differently towards places I see almost daily.

Belgian cities have their own style, it's hard describe them
without a lazy "looks belgian." Thanks for sharing.

I love Belgian cities. They are more laid back than the Dutch counterparts. Until this year I never visited Ghent. But I must say that it is more beautiful than Bruges. Of course that is personal.

Other cities I like are Brussels and Antwerp. I live close to Antwerp. About 30-40 minutes by car.

I think that this is the place where the signing of the end of the War of 1812 took place.

You know your history. You are right about that.
