In an article on Taipei 101 there's a diagram of T101, Sears & Petronas from SSP. All are Kelvin's and the (tiny) credit next to it goes to him and skyscraperpage.com :) This is in Sweden's largest popscience mag, so it might bring a few ppl here :)

Just noticed that all three are diffrent from the ones on my poster - and better :D

Thats cool, but not good unless Dylan gave them permission. At least they gave credit.

Hopefully dylan is aware of it in a sense that he gave permittion etc. to do that.

Other than that - it's cool that our diagrams are being used in magazines etc. :)

Indeed, part of the reason for my post was to check that everything had been done properly (i.e. contact with Dylan &/or Kelvin)

Neither have I...

Why would they use my Petronas? It's ever-so awful!?

Hey SWEDE, does this magazine have a web-site or something - so maybe the article would be there - OR is it possible to scan that page.
I'm just curious to see the thing...

In "Kijk" magazine (titel means something like "Observe") here in the Netherlands, this months issue features a reference to SSP on their internetpage. They write a small recommendation of 2 or 3 internetsites a month which are worth surfing to. This time SSP was among those recommendations. There was a small picture of the main diagram and the text said something like this:

"All tall buildings in the world can be found here. A top ten tallest constructions, a top ten highest buildings, historical highest buildings, etc, etc, etc. All buildings are compared to scale."

Not really a good description..., but free advertising for SSP...

Maybe it attracts some people to the site, since Kijk is a popular science magazine which touches on topics like space exploration, enginering, military, aviation, inventions, etc.

I'm scanning it right now, hold on...

here we go:
http://w1.875.telia.com/~u87519939/illvet.jpg
magnified it a bit, to show the credit text. In reality it's about 10*10 cm. The T101 drawing is used on the previous page aswell.

The mag's site is http://www.illvet.com ONLY in Swedish, found some info there:
the magazine comes out in local editons in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Finland. Put together the circulation is 350000, and each issue is read by ~2.3M (not bad for a region of ~25M).

Could not find any email adresses on the site (!), but a page to send mail to them is here http://www.illvet.com/polopoly.jsp?d=188&a=1009. In the "Välj ett alternativ" menu pick "Annat"(=Other).
I'm sending one myself asking for why neither of you have heard about this, and I can guarantee they know english so I suggest you might wanna do the same...

btw - why is T101 blue???:)

You mean it's not? It's more blue than it is green. DPP people haven't gone that far.

There are also websites that have these drawings in them. Like this one http://www.ustboniface.mb.ca/cusb/achachi/pages/Toronto.htm , and more on their other pages.

I couldn't find it myself, plus they could at least have put the right stats for the buildings.

Damn, that webpage is CHEESE! they even ripped off SS.com's Toronto banner. :haha:

I think we can ignore these little VERY amateur webpages.

Yep, stumbled across that website on a search engine when I was looking for information on a particular building. Not only did I tell immediately it was SSP's drawings but I could also tell which illustrator drew them in a couple of cases! The other Canadian cities on there also have these drawings. :nono:
