The students of Carleton University's architecture program (including me!) are presenting the annual Kosmic live art-architecture-installation-music event. This is a unique event in Ottawa and Canada showcasing student design and local music. Ghettonuns will be performing along with DJs Ricky Papa and Matteo Maneiro, breakdancing by Bread Crumbs Crew and live art by Maki and Lindsay Campbell. See you there ;)

Nice poster art! I've seen it around Ottawa U as well. When did they switch the location over to Arts Court? I thought they always had it at Carleton.

Thanks! Kosmic had always taken place at Carleton until last year, when the administration said no more on-campus parties. I think the Arts Court location gives the event a more city-wide presence, instead of being isolated to the campus. The School of Architecture was a great venue, though!

Any reports and stories from Kosmic? Pictures? (Last one of those I went to was way too long ago for me to even mention - 1996)

Kosmic was successful this year with all 500 tickets sold. We are still counting money and expenses, hopefully there will be some left over to put towards the school's Directed Studies Abroad program (with trips this year to Italy, Florida, and the Windsor-Quebec City corridor).
