I was lucky enough to spend the start of the New Year (Jan 2nd anyway) in Atlanta and what a wonderful city it turned out to be. I would like to thank everyone who gave me advice on what to see and where to eat, especially KevinAtl. And for anyone else who visits, the Flying Biscuit is quite a wonderful place for breakfast.

Unfortunately, for me, the day I was in Atlanta also happened to be something like the coldest day there in like five years! It barely reached 30° and was about 15° with windchill, a little out of the norm for a boy from California. But, I trudged along nevertheless and was able to take an enormous amount of pictures. Thanks for the comments! I see Atlanta get dumped on a lot, but, I really enjoyed it. The area around Midtown and Virigina Highlands was by far my favorite and the most impressive to me. With all the construction going on, I'd love to go back in a couple of years and see how things have changed.
