I drive by this place all the time, on the days I drop off my wife at work. It's been stalled for months now and we've wondered what was going on. It's a pretty cool looking building, I really hope they get it finished.

The modern-looking three-story structure at West Lynn Street and Enfield Road stands out among the bungalows and smaller residential buildings in the surrounding Clarksville neighborhood -- not just because of its size, but because its only half-finished.

Work has been stalled on the Pleiades Condominiums at 1603 Enfield for about two months, leaving neighbors concerned that the site could become a source of criminal activity as well as an eyesore. At issue is a disagreement between the project's owner, Bolter Corp., and designer-builder QMET Building Co. LLC that could end up in court, sources say.

This one could have been good, but the design ended up being crap.

It would be a smart decision to try and buy it from them due to the fact that the companies involved are going into litigation.

driving by this one it looks to be of very high quality - materials selction/usage,etc. Personally I like the design - in particular the suspended or floating look it has with the whole thing up on pedistals.

a few months ago i had an quick meeting with the developer and he explained his cost basis was huge...$375-400psf. I got a tour of the building and the materials were very high quality. He was expecting buyers at $500psf.

I really like the design and location but after visiting with him I'm not surprised he got sideways.
