Hmm, that doesn't look like above ground parking eventhough I was under the impression the podium had some. I'm still very concerned with how this building will shape up. Another BSN or worse could be disastrous.

Actually, I believe the plan is to reduce the lanes to 2 each direction....Burnhamthorpe is where the light rail is supposed to turn off Hurontario - then going north on Duke of York to the bus depot at Sq1...this will probably take many years to be completed though...the light rail will run down the centre of the median....

I am pretty sure there are no plans to widen Burnhamthorpe...

edit: here is the latest master plan for MCC, which was just released on May 7, 2009..../warning 20MB file/

thanks for posting tons of great pics Caltrane.

i must declare, despite the disagreements with many other forumers, this dead-on, low hor.level, frontal shot of toronto should be banned! i hate it! -atleast until Cityplace and the Signature tower in particular are up.
it's often used as our skyline 'money shot' but it doesn't tell half our story.
cn tower, in the fore, always looks out of proportion... 'tall' buildings like rbc and ritz are deminished and look like 35 storeys cuz they're in the background.

I love the double cone look of the skyline from this angle....

Even if you hate this angle, it gives good perspective on construction which is taking place close to the harbourfront......

look at pinnacle and RBC.... 2 brand new skyscrapers in the skyline never seen in this shot before.

And by the end of the summer, you'll be able to check MLS, Ritz, & TIFF from these angles as well....

And then next year, it's all about Shangri La!!!

ya man, this camera is so cool, i got all these honies that want to model for me in their bikini's and workout gear and stuff.. for sure I'll post some of it on youtube and put the link in my signature when I'm done!!! - Caltrane's bikini babes!!!

I'll video tape some of my dance moves and have bikini girls introduce me, and i'll post that shit on youtube too!!

The residential entrance to the north tower, what a mess. I'd be pretty unhappy living under these conditions for six or eight months. Casa buyers take note, with occupancy beginning in December/January this is a scenario that you will most likely avoid.
