If you have any comments or would like to critique it, then feel free!

I'll start off with some shots from one of our Asian neighborhoods

Dude, what is the temperature now, like -20 below in Chicagoland?

From what I've seen in News Pics, the waterfront is all frozen!
Reminds me of the last few scenes of New York City in "The Day after Tomorrow".
Truly Incredible CompGraphics in that movie.

It's true, we are spoiled in SoCal; on the other hand, we don't have much variety AT ALL.
The coldest temp i've ever been in was at Virginia lake up near Mammoth a few years back; the wind chill made it feel like -5!

That Borders is on Sunset and Vine in Hollywood... Interesting on what people consider the westside because I wouldn't consider anything East of La Cienega to be on the westside.

yeah hollywood =/= westside

LA is multinodal in a pretty meaningless sense, but these pictures capture some urban glimpses of various locales in LA. The potential is there and when and if we ever get a comprehensive rail system that connects all the various villages that are pictured in this thread, then LA can claim to have a meaningful and functional 'multinodal' city. Love the pics, kingofthehill (nice eastside love for los feliz and glendale!)

Yep, and I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt today. :D I do believe this shot is in San Marino, a weathy community that tends to be on the more conservative side as compared to the Beverly Hills, Bel Aire, Hollywood crowd. This is one of the areas where the old money resides in southern california.

Lol, awesome that you caught some of the world wide protests against Scientology on Sunday (another one schedule for March 15). I should qualify that they weren't protesting the beliefs of Scientologists, they were protesting and demonstrating against the tactics Scientology has used to quiet critics and such /derail

Nice shots!

Great photos. Exactly where is the Asian neighborhood at the beginning? Those street signs don't look like the City of Los Angeles'. (183rd Road.)

Wow. The shot with Von's and Glendale Memorial Hospital is incredibly foreshortened. You managed to include a large section of Los Feliz Blvd. going through Atwater Village (the section in front of the railroad bridge.) Even the Tom O'Shanter Inn is in the photo, though difficult to notice. Did you take this shot from a Griffith Park mountain with a telephoto lens?
