I had no idea the Bronx had such wonderful brownstones and large quantities of huge old stone rowhouses.

I think these are the first rowhouse ranch's i've ever seen:

For the Bronx pics, I think you start in the most suburban part of the Bronx (far eastern Bronx, near the Throgs Neck Bridge), and head west along Tremont Avenue, gradually moving into steadily older, denser and grittier neighborhoods until you hit the Harlem River.

For the Brooklyn pics, I see lots of Clinton Hill, Bed Stuy and Crown Heights, and some Park Slope, Cobble Hill and Fort Greene.
