This is all pretty self explanatory. Because of the horrid cold here in the twin cities I had to escape to the indoors to play with my camera. Spring fever is starting to hit hard! All comments welcome.

Nice shots. I'm surprised security guards didn't try to confiscate your camera.

Cool pics! I have to say, the Mall of America is scary to me... I am overwhelmed in normal sized, average malls. That thing is a monster!

I love malls, and I'm sure I'd enjoy a visit to the MoA. That said, from other photos I've seen, it doesn't seem like there's anything really visually remarkable about it compared to other malls, other than its size. I guess the fact that each wing looks different is interesting, but that just makes it like 4 modern, nondescript malls kludged together around an amusement park.

If you want to see a cool-looking mall, try the new Time Warner Center in NYC or Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA.

Nice shots though.

My coworkers and I stayed across from MOA in summer 2000 and found some very good restaurants in the mall (not just fast food). Other than that, it was just a mall (a REALLY big mall). We rode the coaster at Snoopy Land (I think that's what it's called) in the middle of the mall, and were surprised that it was a pretty good coaster. We were a bunch of adults acting like kids!

So that's why the US's biggest mall is in Minneapolis. Gives Minnesotans something to do in the frigid weather. ;)

shopping malls really suck... although considering the cold up there in winter and the heat in summer I guess it makes a certain amount of sense!

WEM is bigger and has the water park, etc.. but MofA's mall itself is actually much nicer. Basically it is similar to WEM, just newer. I'm not a big fan of these malls myself, but I still like to visit them just to check them out.

Nice pictures though.

MoA is just about the physical manifestation of my own personal hell (Lego display's awesomeness notwithstanding) but great pics nonetheless

I agree. The MOA is very boring and very overrated. I find it to be very disgusting as well due to the number of people.

I can't believe they're adding on to the place.

BTW, thanks for the pics.

West Ed Mall is quite run down these days. they haven't updated the decor for most of the mall since it was first built. It used to be my favorite place when I was a kid, but these days I couldn't be bothered to go anywhere near it. I don't care much for malls, so the bigger it is the less I care for it. Same goes for MoA.

Nice pictures though.

KOP schools both of them. But we are talking about shopping malls here so its not much of a prize.
