Today was one of the kinds of days that we live for here in South Florida. The temperature; a comfortable 80 degrees, a nice breeze, blue skies and low lying white puffy clouds.

When I’m stuck in traffic on I-95 in July and its 90 degress with 100% humidity, someone please remind me that it is worth it.

Ha, I had to go through the photos twice as I spent the first viewing looking closely for hot bodies, lol. But I did go back to check out the scene as well. ;)

LOL, at first I was going to comment that I feel bad about myself that I am sitting inside checking out chicks on a photo thread on skyscraperpage. Atleast I know I am not the only one.

Nice pics.

I must say, even though i've been to Florida and didn't really like the vibe, I certainly do love the beach. And it's nice to see all the beautiful people out strutting around!

Current Warning Flags:

Yellow & Purple flags for moderate-hazard bathing conditions with rough seas, rip currents and Portuguese Men-of-War. Please remember, conditions are always subject to change, so never enter the ocean until after consulting the lifeguard on duty.

Thanks, that's the first time I've seen a purple flag warning in use.
I've seen the yellow flags on beaches at the Gulf, but people usually ignore them.

S. Florida gets the "dangerous marine life" flag for man-of-war quite a bit. It's a different color at different beaches. Also, isn't the water pretty chilly there this time of year? I'll be in coastal South Carolina in two weeks, hopefully the weather is similar up that way.

Purple flags are not uncommon this time of year in South Florida. Due to these guys:

Yes, but mostly in the suburbs......not in the city itself (away from the beach). Cities like Lauderdale Lakes and Lauderhill come to mind.

There's also been reports of a big shark migration. I was at the beach further north the week before and they were keeping everyone out of the water. I can't say that it was the case this time, but they always make it a big deal on local news outlets.

Lauderhill aka Jamaicahill seems to be the center of West Indian community in South Florida, but they are pretty spread out.
