Lawrence from JP to Lincoln Square has to be one of the most diverse streets in the world. The street contains Polish, Bulgarian, Serbian, Korean, Cuban, Arabic, Turkish, Mexican, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Greek, German and more communities. The languages change nearly everyblock.

Awesome set, its always a nice to see other parts of the city other than the Loop, and Michigan Avenue.

BTW thanks for sharing that shot of the Trump Tower. I hadn't see the progress in a while.

I've had too many frustrating experiences on Lawrence that I prefer to put that nightmare of a street out of my memory forever. But nice photos! :)

That stretch of Lawrence is my favorite Chicago streetscape. It's got so much going on. Milwaukee to Lincoln is quite a hike!

What happened?

Adrian, The weather and light were awesome that day.

Thundertubs- That stretch is amazing for its cultural diversity. I've taken the bus before but never walked it. 4 Miles but probably the most interesting 4 miles in the city. Its much easier to take the Brownline to Kimball and visit the heart.

Thanks for the comments. I'll probably get out more to Albany Park try all the restaurants and buy a bunch of socks at Socksco.

Thanks. I try and visit as many areas in the city as possible. Chicago is a lot larger and diverse than many people may realize.

That's one of my favorite intersections! Hit a bar up the street after a Cubs game where they were showing a replay, then caught some jazz, then put out a fire at John Barleycorn.
