not a fan of stadiums but it's nice seeing work from Ito. One of my favorite architects today. even if that work isn't as smart or subtle as some of his best buildings.

yea but kaohsiung's stadium is ENTIRELY covered with solar panels and will power the entire stadium. beijing's stadium uses solar thermal collectors placed at 12 entrances and only some of the stadium will be powered by it.
