Hey all.

It occurred to me that we could use a WikiMap to track development. Google maps lets you make your own custom maps, so I threw one together that anyone can edit, add photos, renderings, descriptions etc. I have a few of the bigger projects downtown already drawn in but it is by no means complete. Ken does a great job on his site, but with all the construction going on, its hard to keep track of everything. Also, this might be a way of keeping tabs on the tech center.

Let me know if you think this is a good idea. Here it is. I guess we'll see if it catches on.

NOTE:

The old rendering is still being used on this map for 1401 Lawrence and the new rendering for 1401 Lawrence is being used to 1400 Wewatta St.

I also changed the colors as follows:

red = proposed

yellow = under construction

green = completed

Awesome map! However, I'm pretty sure that 2101 Market is U/C.

Can I make that iframe work? I've tried it raw and I've tried it wraped with CODE tags, but this is the best I get:

Denver needs a site like this: http://www.urbancondominiums.com/

Click Cityscape 2012 about halfway down the page.

Who cares?

....thought maybe you are planning to move here or visit. I've noticed your suggestions in the light rail thread also and thought maybe you wanted Denver to get better for personal reasons. Otherwise...why would you care?? :shrug:

Cuz I like cities that I visit from time to time to improve and grow in ways that justify my reasons for visiting. Denver is more than the cheapest coffee eggs and toast city in the country, it's got museums and lots of fun stuff-- the more it has, the bigger the incentive for people to visit when I tell them to.
