Is this a self-appointed duty or do you work at BC Place or something like that?

most of the tickets went to ticket brokers who are now charging more than 3-5 times the face value
some sites are reselling the tickets for $1800 front row! nose bleed section starts at $150
complete rip off but i guess its madonna

Yeah, it is sad how many were sold to "brokers", it is definitely a LARGE percentage. I really don't see why it's that big of a show anyways, she has less than a handful of good songs....

obviously there are millions of people worldwide who disagree. consider her last tour which was the largest grossing tour for a female artist, ever. consider the fact that she's had more u.s. top ten singles than any other artist, ever.
but when all is said and done, she is also very greedy. that's for sure.
as for nutters anti-semitic "joke", what can one say... other than the daily observation that the douchebags/neanderthals still dwell among us.

i saw her in chicago two tours ago. great show but i wasn't in the mood to dole out that much cash this time. our tickets were $160 american then and the seats were still quite a distance from the stage in the united centre.

her last tour was priced the same as this one
anyway there was a special on CBC a few weeks back about brokers - basically they can grab 100's of tickets before a single person can get just one thanks to software that leaves the fan or ticket buyer in the dust
and madonna this tour has made a deal with one of the biggest ticket re-sellers in the world - i forget who it is but she'll be getting a cut of that as well - smart women
i would really like to go but alas no chance now - but she does put on an amazing show - saw the girle show in toronto

I just like to take a more relaxed and casual approach to the world's problems and issues, unlike many an uptight know-it-all politically correct college activist douchebag.

Raggedy13 and myself believed we should lock the thread for a while just to calm things down. Let's play fair now and start on a clean canvas everyone.

she just added another date to montreal, toronto and chicago
tickets still haven't gone on sale in some of the western cities and won't start until june so there is a chance a show will be added here - she seems to have a few days between dates so it could be doable

I'd definitely be shocked if a second show was added. Two stadium shows in a city like Vancouver would be a huge deal. Other than Paris and Mexico City, all the cities getting 2nd dates are arena shows. Also important to note that London (her home city) only has one date so far, at Wembley Stadium.
Chicago's two dates are October 26 and 27, Monday and Tuesday. Our show is on October 30, a Thursday. Madonna doesn't perform on Fridays (it is the Kaballah day of rest) so a Halloween concert is out of the question. And she is down in Oakland on November 1 (the Saturday). So if we do get a second date, which I personally doubt, it would have to be before the one we already have.

Try Bay City, Michigan - outside of scenic Detroit. Guess her faux UK accent fooled you too, huh.

its possible - she has added dates prior to the first
she did that in toronto for the GS - i got tickets for the only show than she added a second show whcih was held the night before
either way i won't be going as of now - uinless there is a miracle and tickets are easy to find at face value
