The site underwent server maintenance to address some issues.

No server is without its downtimes and whether its a big forum or small, maintenance tasks need to be carried out.

We have a private CUI forum, and have thought about this in the past. However, SSP serves adequately for discussion purposes and we don't have a large enough staff (or server) to keep our own forum running all the time.

The random server maintenance is a little annoying, but I'd just put up with it.

Unfortunately with servers sometimes the maintenance is random. A server can go nutty all of a sudden and need immediate attention.

Sorry for the delays, but hopefully what Dylan was able to do throughout the night will solve some of the key issues we've been having.

Considering what this forum (and others that are even worse) have gone through in the past, I was actually going to post a congrats to the site admins for having it back up so quickly!

I was so bored I went to sleep. That's like, 5-6 hours more sleep than I usually get. :)

Besides, I go outside enough as it is. It's just cloudy and rainy and hard to get good pics.

seriously though I love the SSP forum and wouldn't want to lose the contributors. The down time wasn't that big of a deal.
