The 3rd and final thread of San Juan, Puerto Rico photos; mostly leftovers. Daytime shots of the Condado area, along with a couple of skyline shots taken from Old San Juan, and a little pano I made. Start here first:

San Juan, PR part 1 - Condado at night (http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=151823)

San Juan, PR part 2 - Old San Juan (http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=151995)

Condado beach. The water is very clear, you can see your toes in waste deep water. There were large enough waves to body surf. Just make sure you don't around any rocks.

I wonder what happened to this old building? It is an abandoned 10 or 11 floor hotel or residential building right on the water. With several mid-rise construction projects going on in Condado, I wonder why this hasn't been torn down and replaced, being on such a prime location.

There are a lot of little boutiques in El Condado.

Great shots that make me a little homesick for the Caribbean.

Does San Juan have a height limit? Excellent shots!

Yes, due at least in part to the proximity of the airport. However, there have (had) been rumors of a 50 floor building for San Juan, which would make it the tallest in the Caribbean. Check out this site for info on San Juan projects: www.vivesanjuan.com (http://www.vivesanjuan.com)

Looks nice. This area seems to have a similar feel to Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

Looking forward to the Caymans.
