Supposedly there are only about 100 left and most of those are in captivity.
This weekend I randomly bumped into one in the Mount Washington area:

I wonder how common it is to see them..? Has anybody else here gotten photos of them?

They sure are hard to find. Even this one is rarely seen anywhere.

I highly doubt anyone would give a rat's ass about these little guys if they weren't so cute.

i've seen one, sadly i didn't have my camera ready and it scurried off.
