Well done!! South Carolina is a state to be reckoned with!! It almost seems like Spartanburg and Greenville are competing with each other. As I said on the other thread, more cities this size need to follow their lead!! Excellent picture thread!!:tup:

Greenville has to be one of (if not the...) best planned cities in the country! It is so amazing how all the buildings, bridges and green space just fit like a glove and blend right in. Other cities (esp. in the rust belt!) should really take a long look at it. The city planners must really work so well together.

Wonderful. One of the best decisions I've ever made on a trip was to take the short ride off I85 up I385 to downtown Greenville. I think these pics show why I really like this city. Thanks for the tour g-man.

Only the few miles of downtown and its surroundings are that well-planned, skyline. Much of the rest of the city (and the surrounding towns like Greer) are a sprawlburban hellhole.

That being said, downtown Greenville is definitely one of the hidden jewels of the South, no doubt about it!
