One of the most polluted streets in Europe, and the most heavily used busline in Sweden (60k a day).

Nice pics, but the ones of me, as usual, turn out not so great.

Wonderful city. Forum meet? I see another forumer in there. :)Yes, we have an annual Nordic and Baltic meet up ( from the Nordic and Baltic section on SSC ) - we go to a new nation capital each year :)

The year before that we went to Riga in Latvia :)

Ecatly where it will go this summer haven't been desided yet, but it will most likely be in either Lithuania or Estonia..

For anyone insterested you are all very welcome ( many who show up are SSP members too like me, Swede, Þróndeimr and Staff )
Be prepared to drink a lot of beer, look at a lot of buildings and eat a lot of fatty food :)

The language is English and goal is to have fun and explore the city as best as we can :)

Which reminds me, it's time to start planning the '09 meet. The fourth one! w00t!

Like FREKI says, it's open for all SSPers and SSCers (we had a Greek SSCer show up, he happened to be in town anyway).

I love the rich, vivid coloring and the myriad hues. Looks like a splendid, compact, easy-to-use city -- something very typical in Europe, or so it seems.

What are the demographics like there? Do they have the same problems with immigrants that Malmo has?

What are the demographics like there? Do they have the same problems with immigrants that Malmo has? I'm probable not the right one to answer this, but since our Swedish members haven't I'm gonna give it a go..

As far as I know it's not as bad as Malmö but it does have some problems in the suburbs ( that said Malmö really isn't as bad as it has been made out to be in the international press )

But Sweden has been very accepting to refugees and therefore also pays the price of problems that comes with it ( like all other Scandinavian nations )
