Plan unveiled for new neighborhood at Fort Lawton

A vision of a new neighborhood is emerging for the Fort Lawton Army Reserve Center in Magnolia's Discovery Park.

My Opinion: I don't like this.
1) We have so few large open green spaces in Seattle. This is our Stanly Park or Golden Gate Park.
2) It's far from transit (car traffic).
3) Closer-in neighborhoods are behind in reaching their estimated growth (SLU, Lower QA, even Interbay between Magnolia and QA).
