ahhh i forgot to do this... i'm not looking at the answers yet.. i want to play this weekend.
I hope you don't mind MsMe, I hid the answers. You can do this by adding these (spoiler) (/spoiler) around the text (use square brackets to actually do it). The answers become visible by highlighting the black bar with your mouse.
Not at all. Sometimes we get so busy in real or on other posts on the boards. :)
I'll let you decide when to let the anwers be seen, hows that. :)
Or put a post asking if people want to see them yet. :)
I will always remember the trolleys coming off the lines and drivers putting them back on. One bad place was around the east end traffic circle. But that was a strange turn especially using trolleys in that area. That must been a lousy part of the job when it was a terrible winter day.
Anyone can see the answers anytime. You just have to click your mouse button and drag it over the black bars to highlight them. The answer will become visible magically and instantly.

Kewl.:)
Vic Copps question is wrong on the starting time, sorry. I looked at wrong paragraph.
I was just reading up on some of the other older mayors. I was surprised not many of them that served from about 1800 to 1870s weren't born in Canada. Most were from England, Ireland and Scotland, and a few from USA.
Most Canadians living back then weren't born in Canada. Especially those of Prime Minister age.
True Adam, and the very early 1800s Canada wasn't that old at the time. Interesting reading about them though, and learning more about Canada's and Hamilton's history. :)
Canada wasn't a country till 1867 even.

by my count, 7/10. i'll take it.
little known fact: while not born here, lester pearson spent his adolescent years in hamilton. i believe his father was a protestant minister, so they moved around a lot. while here, they lived on catharine north near cannon. the home still stands though it operates as a rooming house now. i think we should include him as a hamilton pm. of course, macnab wasn't born here either.

i'd like to believe the name change happened because some letters fell off the marquee and they rolled with it

I didn't know that about Eugene Levy, so you taught me something from that question. :) I never watched that show as I was usually at work at that time, since I worked the graveyard shift. So I didn't know much about that show.
Shows how much more we can learn about our city. :)
