The Bedford Basin Trail is a trail currently being proposed for the Western side of the Bedford Basin. The idea is to connect this to Sackville River Trails in the north, to the Greenway/Railcut trail on the peninsula. Currently the trail is proposed to be 4m wide and a rail-with-trails type (chain link fence seperation).
It'll connect Sackville River/Shore Drive with Bedford Harborwalk, Bedford Ferry Terminal, Prince's Lodge, Hemlock Ravine, Birch Cove, MSVU, and the Halifax Peninsula via Greenway Trail.
There is some information availble on the proposed Bedford Basin Land Use Study (http://halifax.ca/council/agendasc/documents/080219ca1115.pdf) (map within study area, and diagram).
