Very nice, Emmanuel. Though I hate all of the logos on Pittsburgh's skyscrapers.

this is a great shot

and the Cork Factory looks incredible in this shot... what a fantastic adaptive reuse

I actually don't mind the logos on the skyscrapers... they add a splash of colour and some visual interest at night... just as long as they don't mar PPG Place or pre-war towers (Duquesne Light's excepted... I really like that sign)

^ I think they cheapen things and detract from the architecture. You really like the Highmark signs? And that UPMC abomination... don't get me started... I think I've already gone on a few rants about that one. I'm actually surprised you don't mind them, Evergrey... considering you seem to dislike signs that mar the facades of lesser buildings.
In Pennsylvania, I think Philadelphia does it right (so far at least)... there are no giant words on their most prominent towers (save for the small and aesthetically unobtrusive BC/BS logo). Comcast, Liberty 1 & 2, Mellon, Verizon... not a letter on any of them. In Pittsburgh, it seems its only a matter of time before PPG and Oxford Center have 'em.

I don't consider U.S. Steel and Highmark to be great architecturally (from my own aesthetic viewpoint)... so I don't mind that they are adorned with neon corporate signage... they're basically buildings that practically cry out for that type of signage... the top 50 feet of U.S. Steel is just a blank black wall... might as well put a sign there
