October 27 started out cold, windy, rainy and raw. It saw Game 5 of The World Series delayed for two days.

October 29 started out much more temperate. It didn't end that way.

Speaking of Werth, i saw video of him when they were cruising down Spring Garden at 10:30 in the morning. He looked like he was already hammered.

Also, in the middle of the parade day pics, the black kid with the mohawk and the american flag, Larry West, he ran a write-in campaign for mayor because he was too young to get on the ballot.

xzmattzx, I do remember and it was a grand ol' time.

Kingofthehill, SEPTA was totally overwhelmed and it became a bit of a controversy. It isn't really SEPTA's screw-up, though. The system is not capable of handling crowds of that size in that short a time period.
