In my opinion, Paris is the gold standard by which all others are judged. My favourite urban destination on Earth. I like how everyone is dressed beyond casual. Very neat.

:previous: I enjoyed my time there this past summer. I was really surprised to see so many people wearing jeans in all the heat, perhaps they were all tourists. I saw people wearing anything from below casual to supermodel type of clothing.... ahhh yes, I still have images of women in high heels... :naughty:

Btw, what's with the outdoor escalator? Is that thing waterproof?

Outdoor escalators are not an unusual thing in France. There are plenty of them.
