Thanks for posting the pictures and enjoy your place!
Our apartment is on the forth floor and we have the same interim occupancy date as yours. Honestly, I don't see how is this going to happen. All the floors moving during the same day are going to use the one elevator?
I am so curious.....We have the inspection next week so I will have a better idea by then, I hope.

I think the builder is going to schedule move-ins on separate days to avoid the elevator problem.
I haven't heard about PDI yet, sent another e-mail to the builder Friday, but no response as yet which is pretty much par for the course in my experience.
Did my usual visit, noticed there were cleaners in the 2 units second floor, south-east and south-west corners.
There are also balcony railing frames on the north-side units (including ours!!)
Ramp to parking garage is still being used as storage for equipment and materials.

It makes sense. After all, the building only has one elevator.
What intrigues me is that although we asked the constructor couple of times about the change of the interim occupancy date, the answer is invariable the same, March 12, no change. Still, the site seems to be far from ready for us to move.
Dropped by today and saw cleaners on the 5th floor apartment facing the street and the Metro. And, some lights on as if work was going on inside.
Thanks for posting the new pictures.

Just to throw my 0.02 in...
After what seemed like weeks of silence and non-response, everything happened quite quickly. I'll preface this by saying that I'm on the third floor, and my occupancy date is next week (this was stated on the Tarion Certificate of Completion and Possession I got after PDI was done, so I would have to think this is committed). I was informed of my PDI appt this weekend just four days in advanced (though 3 days in reality, as the email somehow got filtered to my spam mailbox, and had I not decided to scan through that folder the day after, I would have surely missed it).
The PDI itself was pretty painless, no major deficiencies found. Workmanship on a whole looked okay, and they (builder rep and especially the site foreman) were pretty good at explaining things. One thing, there was a deviation from the floor plan which was notable, but I didn't realize it until I got back home, and the builder didn't highlight it; thankfully, it was a change that created slightly more liveable space, so I was okay with it.
I saw the room where the first floor storage cages were located, couldn't judge how big they were as I couldn't see them up close. The elevator wasn't in service, but should be sometime this week when it gets certified. I was told that the garage will not be ready until end-March, and could not inspect my space.

I got 24 hours notice of my PDI tomorrow at 08:30 via e-mail at 03:00 this morning.............
According to my lawyer if the parking is not ready on occupancy we can claim compensation for having to find and probabably pay for alternate parking.
Stay tuned for post-PDI update!

No major problems, just minor nicks and dings to paintwork, drywall and flooring, and some caulking to be re-done in the bathrooms.
All upgrades present, plus some additional ones thrown in by the builder, they upgraded the light fixtures in the bathrooms, and added a light in the shower enclosure, also upgraded washer and dryer at no extra cost.
Confirmed that parking wil not be ready until end of March.:yuck:
Saw the locker room on ground floor, not as large as I had hoped, just means I have to purge more crap.
Lobby and hallways were still works in progress, elevator is working but not signed off by TSSA yet.
Main entrance will be north-east corner facing Metro on Carleton St even though the civic address is Wellington St
They expect Occupancy Certificate from the city this Friday, our occupancy date is still March 12th, trying to schedule an elevator slot for the physical move with the Sales Office.
Overall went well. the 2 ZW guys Zaf and Richard were very helpful, no arguments regarding things that needed to be fixed.

Great to hear that everything went well with your PDIs! Ours is scheduled for Saturday (we are on the 4th floor). I am soooo curious to see our apartment.
Good to hear that we can claim compensations for the garage. We called our lawyer and asked for the same thing: why should we pay the rent in full if the garage is usable.

So we moved in Friday, not all the PDI defects had been corrected which is a shame as they had over a week to fix things up.
Had 2 run-ins with the neighbour on Carleton whose property is next to the building, on Friday our delivery truck was parked slightly blocking his driveway and within 60 seconds she was out giving the driver a hard time (parking in front of the building is blocked due a dumpster). Our driver managed to calm her down enough to let him unload.
Today we had new furniture delivered, again the truck was parked maybe 12 inches in front of the double driveway, and sure enough out they came.
The driver tried to tell them that they were just unloading a few pieces, and if they needed to get out they would move the truck, but that wasn't good enough, and he threatened to call the cops if the truck wasn't moved right away.
I tried to step in and mediate but the guy was right in my face so I backed off and helped the delivery guys unload as quick as possible, all the while he was stood there giving us the stink-eye.
I can understand that he has lived through 2 years of noise, dirt and general BS but if this is going to be his attitude every time a truck pulls up then he is either heading for a stroke or a punch in the face from the delivery guys who tend to be somewhat on the large side!
My unit overlooks his property, so I'll be sure to give him a wave every time I see him on patrol!

I got a good laugh from your last line! However, out of respect for their privacy, I'd recommend never stepping out onto your balcony.
