What is at that corner currently... I'm having trouble picturing it. Is it an empty lot?

Oop.. ok. I was thinking of the Parkdale / Wellington corner. (there's a prime spot as well for development!)
I live about a block up on Holland from this - it will be a great use of an empty lot - good for values! I was so dissapointed when the tartan project didn't move forward - although I guess they must have sold it to domicile, realizing that they just couldn't make things work in the inner city - and kept their business focuss in the 'easy' suburbs. The domicile builiding looks exactly the same in lay out as the previous one - I guess they want it to fit the existing site plan approval.
It is just south of the ne wGCTC/windmill developments condo building - in behind the table restaurant, at Holland and Wellington.

With Domicile behind the project, it will go ahead. The question is when. Not that the area lacks popularity, but more how the broader market is doing. Mind you, under normal circumstances it would be pretty cool to see Domicile and Ashcroft (101 Richmond) face off and see who sells out first. Any guesses where my money is?

Nice that they left the northern exposure closed off for a future midrise development on Wellington. Domicile has a knack for getting projects done, so I expect this one to go to construction sooner or later.

I live only a few blocks away from this location too...that building looks awesome, and will blend nicely with the surrounding neighbourhood.
Good find!

Here are additional renderings of the proposed building with the GCTC shown on the background. They have also being posted in the general updates thread as well as I have not notice that it had its own thread.
