Been watching this one progress too :)
- A thing I find particularly interesting is that they've fit 17 homes into a lot that originally held 1 (which might be common in other areas, but for a lot in the middle of a subdivision, it's neat.)

I think that lot can hold 2/3 in that area.

Anyways, I was gald that they scaled it down to 17...because in the original plan, they were going to fit 33. (I was at the community open house discussion ;) )

That seems a small lot. I was originally thinking this was down closer to the highway but it's a good location smack dab between Scottsdale and 64th for shopping. This must be the only available space by Scott in Sunshine Hills for something like this.

^ it is not by Scott....it is at the intersection of Nicholson Rd/Baker
Very near Scott road though...

People would shop at Scott/72nd instead of 64th.

Also, that lot was orignally planned for expansion of the care centre ajacent to it.

Yes, it is by Scott Road, talk about semantics. By and very near are very close in definition, especially in this case. You have to drive along Nicholson to get to it but the development is still only 150m by Scott Road. Your definitions of "by" and "very near" seem to be prepositionally particular.

At any rate thanks for the pics. I like these but that retro stone work that's around the garages is going to get old fast I feel. It's used on everything these days.

^ ya, good that it has a different, well darker, colour scheme.

They are beautifying the front area now...and the the house in that second pic has been repainted.

Too lazy to upload those pics :yuck:

Allen, I need you to repost your images. They are way too large: under the SSP: Vancouver Rules Section 2, it states that images should be kept to a maximum of 1000 pixels, and since it is YOUR image (btw, you haven't sourced it), you need to keep it at that size.
