Danshui is north of Taipei where the river meets the ocean. Surprisingly, there is a sizeable collection of World Heritage buildings around here.

Perhaps the biggest surprise was the colonial legacy and the sizeable stock of World Heritage buildings left from that era. This is the Danshui Church ...
