Yeah, few friends of mine wanted to go and couldn't get tickets either. I didn't even bother trying as I had a class last night, would have been quite a show to be at though.

While I still think that Tiësto is a more skilled DJ, I can see why van Buuren was voted #1; the guys just loves to spin! Although I'm a planner, my biggest passion is footy and seeing him on the tables is like seeing my self on the pitch at The Emirates. As he absolutely loves and enjoys what he does, he brings a truly refreshing passion that he emanates and spreads through the club. It was one of the best shows I've been to simply because of the joy it is to see him in his element, mad props to RvB!

What's with the sudden influx of international DJs?

We always get DJs here, I have seen many over the years, including AVB before. The spring is a big time for them as most hit up the WMC in Miami and then do tours around North America before and after.

A few years ago it was never so hard to get into things but now tickets are so hard to come by for so many events in town. My theory is that there is a certain group of people in this town who do not necessarily appreciate what they are seeing but just have to go as it is the place to be that night and makes it harder for us who actually care!
