ok i get it. i think it's an underground mausoleum. the last picture has grid boxes along the spiraling walls. each box is a space for an urn. it's a really cool design, more like a slick museum. i hope it gets built.

The client have signed the contract with Ando Tadao. Therefore, it is going to build, but it take time.

安藤忠雄今天來台，發表他第一座墓園建築作品。這座墓園位於三芝鄉，面積廣達26公頃，造價超過100億台幣，預計8到10年完工。

墓園建築主體有一半低調隱藏於地下。主體之上是為直徑81公尺之巨大水盤，象徵一面鏡子映照周遭自然美景；同時向下奔流成為高12公尺，寬90公尺的水瀑。內部則以空間螺旋狀的階梯與各樓層連結，並從頂部灑下的靜謐光線。安藤表示，這個紀念空間的靈感是來自羅馬萬神殿。

為了達成安藤要求的「蝶飛櫻舞」，業主龍巖人本與台大植物系、生物系教授合作，購下10000坪的土地，專門用來培育嬌貴的吉野櫻。同時研究蝶類的食草及蜜源植物，在墓園周邊以人工方式先行種植，吸引蝴蝶遷徙。

The whole project is not only this underground construction, it is also include cherry blossoms garden. This project is 26 hectares so it take a long time to complete.
