KDKA-TV followed WTAE-TV in utilizing PittsburghSkyline.com photographs for their cityscape backdrops for their new set in mid June 2009.

Beautiful pics as always Flash. Love the colors. Congrats on the TV exposure too (sorry, didn't mean to sound like a bad pun). I wish the Buckos would turn things around and have a couple of really good seasons in a row.

Note to self: have a towel ready before opening a Flash thread, so you can keep the drool out of the keyboard. My goodness!

What's the deal on the dogs at the ballpark? I assume it is just a one game special. Are they restricted to the far reaches of the outfield as it appears.

PNC is right at the top of the retro ballparks, along with AT&T and Camden Yards. What a beauty of a park with such a great river and skyline view. I love that they went with intimacy and small capacity although I realize that was sadly more about the Pirate attendance base than it was about aesthetics. No matter: the place is a winner.

How could I have missed these? Absolutely wonderful photos. BTW, you should move back to Pittsburgh and support your hometown. :)

Actually, I'm in love with the new KDKA set. I prefer their news to the other local channels, but before the switch it was so grainy and bad in picture quality on an HD set. I assume you took the KDKA background?? If so you almost have the Pittsburgh media market wrapped up with your photography.

First off - Flash - fantastic photos as always. Everytime I look, I want to move back home...makes be all warm and fuzzy and sad all at the same time...

Anyway - the dog deal, if I remember correctly, the have a Paws at the Park night where you can bring your pooch along with. Special section for you and your faithful friend. Looks like they all enjoyed the game.

You are right about PNC - the place rocks. I love it. As far as the capacity -I think although the Bucco's haven't been above .500 since '92, the ballpark size is more about the look than necessarily them being horrid. A two tier ballpark just isn't done nowadays and it makes PNC all the more special with the sight lines and feel. Also, the Buccos - if they are ever good - can create a pretty great supply v. demand experience with that sub 40k seat ballyard.

Thanks again Flash - awesome.
