Before moving to Portland I lived in West Palm Beach, Florida. West Palm Beach is the largest city in Palm Beach County and one of the largest in the South Florida metro area. Now that I've been in Portland for a few months I still do not miss home at all. I guess that is because I was never into constant heat and humidity, ostentatious people, and sprawl. As the temperature in Portland climbs past the 100 degree point I never thought I'd be thinking of home as a cooler place.

Palm Beach may be trendier than Portland, WPB is not!

It's a tale of two cities (Palm Beach -- WPB).

I do have to say though, WPB has made leaps and bounds in building up density and extending it's urban environment inward. CityPlace is spectacular.
